This image shows the matriarchs of the Brooke family and children. From left to right is Manie Brooke (paternal grandmother) of the children in the photo. Next to Manie is Daphne Brooke. On the right is Phyllis Brooke (mother of the children). In the front, from left to right is Elizabeth Brooke standing in front of Manie Brooke and Arthur Brooke on the right standing in front of his mother. This photo was taken on McKechnie Road. There are milk cans on the right next to the house and garage. Milk cans were a common presence on this dairy farm that operated in Pitt Meadows. The husband of Phyllis Brooke and father of the three children built the family home. He worked in agriculture, but he was a radio amateur and his hobby was in electronics.
