Celebrating Canada's Centennial
This is a photo of grade 7 students dressed up as pioneers in Mrs. Sidwell's class. It was taken on May 11, 1967. Canada's Centennial was July 1, 1967, but the students were encouraged to celebrate Canada turning 100 early. From left to right, it is believed that the boy with the yellow shirt and black beard is Mike Williamson. The boy next to him is unknown.The young man in the back row with a mustache wearing a white and red shirt, with a black and silver bow tie is Glenn Salchert. The young man with the white hat, vest and lumberjack shirt is unknown. It is believed that the girl in the pink dress is Linda Brogden. The girl in the blue dress is Gail Cusick.
