The third image is of C.J. “Bud” Tiedeman during his term as mayor c. 1988-1993. The fourth image is of Dave R. Duncan during his term as mayor c. 1997-1999. Oscar A. Austring served from 1966-1975 as mayor. He was the president of the B.C. Blueberry Co-op for 27 years, worked as an alderman from 1950 to 1965, and was involved in several clubs\/organizations in Pitt Meadows like the rotary club, masonic lodge, and Shriners. Austring worked with his father to turn the peat farm into blueberry farms, and he and his father are credited with starting the blueberry industry in Pitt Meadows and the province. Danny R. Sharpe served as mayor from 1976 to 1987. Danny was a pioneer of Pitt Meadows, a lifetime Rotarian (perfect attendance) and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion for over 50 years. Danny was involved in his brothers’ company “Sharpe’s Agencies” from 1956, and it was his prime occupation outside of politics. C.J. “Bud” Tiedeman served as mayor from 1988 to 1993. Dave R.
