Saturday, June 1st 2024 is Pitt Meadows Day! An annual tradition where community spirit comes out in full force!

This year will look a little bit different for us at the Museum. We are no longer on the parade route, as the parade to our delight, used to pass right by our front doors. Now the parade begins at City Hall and moves down towards Athletic Park, bypassing us altogether. We're still ready to be a part of your day though! For more information on the event click here.

Parade

Starting with our dedicated engine crew who have worked diligently and have restored two of Hans Hoffmanns antique tractors! These hardworking volunteers will be displaying a 1914c. Fairbanks-Morse Type Z Engine, a 1925c. McCormick-Deering 15-30 Tractor, and a 1952c. Ferguson Tractor. Be sure to cheer loudly for them during the parade! 

Open Hours

We will be open at the General Store Site of the Museum from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Drop on by on your way to or from the parade and festivities! Don't worry we haven't forgotten to get ready for the fun here! We will have cookies and lemonade for all those needing a break from the nice weather (well...we're hoping for nice weather). We will also have lots of hands on items to play with, some fun and games, and of course all the knowledgable staff to answer any of your questions!

At the Park

Down at the park, you will find us in two spots. Our engine crew will be displaying their hard work, and will be down there with the tractors. Be sure to stop by and ask them about the project and all the 62 engines they have been working on before this project!

We will also be joining the Country Fest Booth with our own fun and games! We're bringing some fun hands-on chalkboard games and a paper craft. Come and say "Hi".
